Modeling Advice » Projects http://www.rachelmullins.com/modeling-advice-blog From a Professional Working Model in Los Angeles Wed, 01 Sep 2010 01:40:02 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.0 Delayed Reaction http://www.rachelmullins.com/modeling-advice-blog/updates/delayed-reaction/?source=rss http://www.rachelmullins.com/modeling-advice-blog/updates/delayed-reaction/#comments Wed, 30 Dec 2009 23:18:08 +0000 Rachel http://www.rachelmullins.com/modeling-advice-blog/?p=586 I haven’t been blogging so much as I have had to keep tight lipped on some recent events.  I have just completed the filming stage of a project I have been working on for about 6 months.  After the airing of Shopping Addicts on the WE channel I gave this new project my full attention.  Keeping in touch with the Executive Producer of Secret Lives of Women for a year.  Her and I had been kicking around ideas to elaborate on Shopping addicts.  As I do have an addiction to fashion that I love this had made great sense to me.  My designer friends and clients have been such a great support to my little project and my biggest cheerleaders.  My publicist has also been a great help in the behind the scenes efforts to make this vision come to fruition.  I’m very pleased with the outcome thus far and the final stages of post production are the home stretch.  My manager will be laying th e pathway to be able to shop the projects to the networks by the second week of January to keep ahead of pilot season.

I can’t yet say what it is but I think it will be great and if the world see’s a finished product I think it will be very helpful to many people.  I have cumniated 9 years in the fashion industry into this so with luck it will be a new take on how fashion and the real world can co exisit.

Rachel Mullins: Model Shopper

November 3rd was the air date of my episode of Secret Lives of Women: Shopping Addicts.  I have yet to see the full episode and I’m a little nervous to see the way the people at The WE channel have edited the footage. 

The show was taped over a year ago and a whole lot of things have changed in my sense then.  I shop more for one. I live on the sunset strip in West Hollywood, thus I go out even more than I did before.  There are tons of screen shots and behind the scenes photos from taping the show. My life as a model shopper just keeps getting better and better!
